When using Gen-1 and Gen-2, you might have use for generations that are larger in size — whether you're a professional editor or just want something a tad more high resolution for your own personal projects, upscaling is the setting you're looking for.
It's important to note that upscaling can currently only be achieved before a generation is initiated. Once you've initiated a generation and received an export, if you haven't toggled the upscale setting to "on", your generation is locked into a smaller export size. Additionally, sizes for both upscaled and non-upscaled Gen-1 and Gen-2 exports depend on the clip's input values, and may need to be further modified after generation to achieve exactly what you're looking for.
Upscaling will size up your result by a significant margin with a slightly increased runtime. We recommend using Upscale after you’ve found your perfect combination of settings. You can view all of Gen-1's advanced settings here, and Gen-2's advanced settings here.
Gen 1
Navigate to the purple "Advanced" toggle next to the righthand settings menu, and click "Advanced" to open up advanced settings. Then toggle Upscale to "on" in order to receive a bigger export.
Gen-2
Navigate to the advanced settings menu (which looks like two slider bars), then toggle Upscale to "on".
