How is Gen-3 Alpha different from Gen-2 Text/Image to Video?
Gen-3 Alpha offers improvement in fidelity, consistency, motion and speed when compared to Gen-2. It boasts significant improvements in prompt understanding, enabling more intuitive and effective generation in hyper-real output.

How much does it cost to generate in Gen-3 Alpha and Gen-3 Alpha Turbo?
Generations with Gen-3 Alpha cost 10 credits per second of video. You can currently export in 5 and 10 second durations, so the costs are as follows:
- 5 seconds: 50 credits
- 10 seconds: 100 credits
Generations with Gen-3 Alpha Turbo cost 5 credits per second of video:
- 5 seconds: 25 credits
- 10 seconds: 50 credits

When should I use Gen-3 Alpha over Gen-3 Alpha Turbo?
Both models provide great results and fidelity, so choosing between the two will be a creative decision you’ll need to make.
Gen-3 Alpha Turbo is great for quickly iterating to explore possibilities. For this reason, our recommended workflow is to do most projects in Gen-3 Alpha Turbo. You may only need to use Gen-3 Alpha if you’re struggling to receive the desired results with Turbo.
What is the maximum length of Gen-3 Alpha generations?
Gen-3 Alpha videos can be a maximum length of 10 seconds. For longer clips, click Extend underneath a finished video within the generative timeline to add another 5s to its length, to a maximum of 40s total.
Can I make unlimited Gen-3 Alpha generations on the Unlimited Plan?
Yes! Explore Mode, unlocked when upgrading to Unlimited, can be toggled on when using Gen-3 Alpha. This allows for infinite generations at a relaxed rate without using credits.
What plan tier do I need to try Gen-3 Alpha?
Gen-3 Alpha is available to all users on a Standard Plan or higher, while Gen-3 Alpha Turbo is available to all users.
Video Inputs are only available on Paid plans in both Gen-3 Alpha and Gen-3 Alpha Turbo.
Is Gen-3 Alpha available on mobile devices?
Yes, you can generate with Gen-3 Alpha from the iOS app or a mobile web browser.
Is there an API available for Gen-3 Alpha?

Can I Upscale Gen-3 Alpha generations?
After the initial generation is created, it can be upscaled from within a Generative Session by clicking on the Actions button below the generation, then Upscale to 4k.
