Although some effects only take one click to apply, oftentimes you’ll wish to make fine tune adjustments. Effects can be edited to suit your needs after application to a clip. For example, lifting the brightness or lowering the contrast.
To expand effects in the right sidebar, select a clip and click the right facing arrow to show applied effects. Here is where customizations can be made. If you don’t see any available adjustments, look for the Effect Settings slider icon beside the name of the effect to expose further settings.
Individual effects may also be hidden or revealed to assist with editing workflow and previewing by using the eye icon.
To remove an effect, simply hover over the effect and click the “-“ icon to the far right.
And finally, to reorder effects on a given clip, you can use the dotted icon to the left of the effect name to drag the effect up or down.
