Workspace members & roles

This feature is currently available to users on Team and Enterprise plans.

Members

Workspace members can be invited by clicking Invite Members in the top-right workspace module, or by heading to Workspace Settings and selecting Members.

Invites are sent via email with a secure link for the user to accept the invitation.

Inviting members requires a Team or Enterprise plan. Standard, Pro, and Max are single-user plans. If you're on one of these plans and want to add members, upgrade to Team.

Seats and billing for Team plan

On the Team plan, the workspace owner's subscription carries the entire bill. Invited members are never charged individually.

  • Team workspaces support 2 to 9 seats.
  • Each seat costs $69/month on monthly billing, or $55/month on annual billing.
  • Members with Admin or Editor roles count as paid seats. Viewers are free and do not count toward seats.
  • Each seat adds 6,900 credits per month to the workspace's shared credit pool, so when you add a seat, the pool grows.
  • Inviting a member adds a seat to the plan if there isn't one open. Removing a member frees their seat up for someone else without changing the billing.

If the team workspace ever has more members than seats — for example, after reducing the seat count — the newest members become Viewers automatically. See Managing seats on your Team plan for adding and removing seats.

Roles

Members are assigned a role when they are invited. Changing a member's role is only available on Enterprise plans, under Workspace Settings > Members, using the dropdown menus in the Role column.

Permissions are as follows:

Owner

Owner is only assigned to you in your original, default workspace. Owners cannot be removed from their workspace. This role cannot be assigned in newly created workspaces.

Admin

Admins can adjust billing information and edit and view videos. On Enterprise plans, Admins can also adjust workspace roles.

Billing Admin

Billing Admin is available on Enterprise plans and doesn't count toward paid seats. Billing Admins can perform administrative actions, but cannot use any generative tools.

Editor

Editors can access assets and edit projects, but cannot adjust workspace settings.

Viewer

Viewer is available on Enterprise plans and doesn't count toward paid seats. Viewers can only view assets and projects.
