You're 100% free to use any content you create using Runway both commercially or non-commercially, and all copyright for your creations and generations is held by you.

Do I have commercial rights to my Runway generations?

Yes, anything made with our generative tools is completely yours to use as you please.

This includes, but is not limited, to monetized (or non-monetized): YouTube uploads, other short-form video uploads (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikTok), social media posts, film festival entries, product advertising, and anything else that may require commercial use rights.

Do I need to credit Runway when reposting or using Runway-made content?

We always love getting shoutouts when our users love their results. However, there is no formal rule that you need to credit us in your Runway-made work!

Users can name or tag us wherever they re-share their creations on various commercial and non-commercial platforms in order to be seen by other Runway community members. Naming Runway in your projects also allows us to highlight you on our socials.
