How do I upgrade from a lower plan to a higher plan?

Upgrading from a lower plan to a higher plan will prorate the cost between the two plans. You'll pay the time-adjusted difference between the plans rather than the full subscription cost when upgrading during an active billing cycle. You can upgrade from one paid plan to another by following these steps:

  1. When viewing your dashboard, click the profile icon in the top right corner, and select Manage your plan
  2. Click the blue Update Plan button
  3. Toggle between the Monthly or Annual tab and select the desired plan
  4. Click Continue, and review the prorated amount displayed as the "Amount due today"
  5. Click Confirm to complete the upgrade

Since upgrades are prorated, your credits will not completely reset after an upgrade. You’ll instead receive the difference of credits between the original plan and new plan.

For example, upgrading from a Standard plan to a Pro plan will add 1625 credits to your account. This is because the Standard plan already includes 625 credits, which are deducted from the 2250 credit balance of the Pro plan.

Alternatively, upgrading from a Pro plan to an Unlimited plan would not add credits to your account, but it would immediately unlock access to Explore Mode. Please review the Unlimited Plan Details article for more information on Explore Mode.
