Introduction

Assets refer to any media stored within your account, including both generated and uploaded content.

All assets are private by default, and will only be accessible to others if you intentionally share the content through one of the below methods. 

This guide outlines how to obtain an Asset Share URL, what recipients will see when opening an Asset Share URL, and how to make assets private again.

Sharing an asset

These steps outline how to share an asset though a session: 

1. Select the Share () icon of the associated asset
2. From here, choose Anyone with link from the dropdown menu
3. Click Share and Copy link to change the permissions and copy the link to your clipboard

You can also share an asset through your Private assets folder by following the steps below: 

1. Select the ellipses (...) on the bottom right of the asset you'd like to share
2. From the menu that appears, select Share
3. Choose Anyone with link from the dropdown menu
4. Click Share and Copy link to change the permissions and copy the link to your clipboard

What details can recipients see about the shared asset?

Sharing this link will allow the recipient to view and download the asset. If the asset was generated on Runway, it will also share generation details such as text, image, and/or video inputs, seed numbers, and more.

Making a shared asset private

To make a shared asset private again:

1. Locate the asset and click the Share icon () 
2. Change the selection to Make private
3. Select Done to confirm the selection
