Gen-2 has been superseded by newer models offering significant improvements in quality, speed, and creative capabilities. This deprecation allows us to focus our resources on supporting and enhancing our current generation of models.
In mid-March, we began revoking access to the legacy Gen-2 model on newly created accounts. Accounts created before then will retain access until it is fully deprecated on May 11th. After this date, Gen-2 will no longer be available to all accounts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I still be able to use Motion Brush?
No, Motion Brush is a feature specific to the Gen-2 model, and is not available on newer models. However, our new models offer improved prompt adherence, and results once only achievable through Motion Brush can now be accomplished directly through prompting.
Can the team enable Gen-2 on my account?
No, the Gen-2 model will be completely deprecated and unavailable to all users after May 11th.
What should I use instead of Gen-2?
