Publishing Workflows as Apps

Introduction

Publishing a Workflow as an App lets you share your workflow through a streamlined interface while keeping core settings of your choosing locked. This means users on your workspace can benefit from your Workflow's functionality without accidentally changing critical parameters or configurations.

Publishing a Workflow as an App

After creating a Workflow, you can publish it as an App by following these steps:

  • Select Publish as App in the top-right corner of the Workflow you'd like to publish
  • From the pop-up, create Labels for the Inputs and Outputs in the Workflow
  • Click the eye icon to show or hide inputs or outputs from the App view
  • Provide a name for the Workflow-powered App
  • Confirm your sharing preference under Share Options
  • Select Publish App

You can access the Workflow-powered App under the My Apps section of your Apps page.

Updating the App

To make changes to the App, follow these steps:

  • Return to the original Workflow and select App Settings in the top-right corner
  • Choose Update App in the dropdown menu
  • From the popup, make the changes you would like
  • After implementing your changes, select Update App

Unpublishing the App

You can unpublish a custom app by following these steps:

  • Navigate to the custom app you wish to remove
  • Select View Workflow in the bottom left corner
  • Click on the App settings button in the upper right hand corner
  • Select Update App
  • Click Unpublish App

Unpublishing an App will not affect the Workflow that powered it.
