Introduction
Runway Look applies a cinematic grade to any photo in a single step. It's designed for photographers, content creators, and anyone who wants to elevate the visual quality of an image with a filmic aesthetic — without manual color grading or editing.
Whether you're working with portraits, landscapes, or everyday snapshots, Runway Look transforms the look and feel of a photo automatically.
Prerequisites
Before using Runway Look, you'll need:
- An input image — any photo you want to apply a cinematic look to
This app requires credits to run and does not support infinite generations in Explore Mode.
Step 1 — Accessing Runway Look
Runway Look lives in the Apps section of Runway. You can get there two ways:
- Navigate to Apps in the left sidebar, then browse to find Runway Look under the Image category
- Use the search bar at the top of the Apps panel and type Runway Look
Select the app to open it.
Step 2 — Adding the inputs
Runway Look has one required input:

Upload the photo you want to restyle using the Select button, or drag and drop it directly into the upload area. No prompt or additional configuration is needed — Runway Look applies its cinematic grade automatically.
Step 3 — Generating with Runway Look
Before generating, confirm:
- Your input image has been uploaded
- The input is required — the Generate button will not be active until an image is provided
Once your image is in place, select Generate. Runway Look uses up to 20 credits per generation and outputs 1 image.
