Introduction
Video generations may appear stuck or delayed in two different ways:
- Queued in Explore Mode
- Stuck on a certain percentage
After reading this guide, you will understand how to identify different types of processing delays, when to take action, and how to cancel unwanted Explore Mode generations.
In queue on Explore Mode
During peaks of high traffic, generations may be queued or take longer to process.
The platform maintains equal access for all Unlimited Plan subscribers during busy periods. When system usage increases, processing times may extend and simultaneous generation capacity becomes temporarily limited.
You can read more about how Explore Mode works here: Why does Explore Mode sometimes move faster or slower?
Cancelling a queued Explore Mode generation
If you have a generation that you no longer want, you may be able to cancel it:
- Navigate to your Assets
- From a session, head to your Dashboard
- On the lefthand side, select the All Generations folder
- Locate the processing output in the Recently created section (near the top)
- If a Cancel button appears on the generation thumbnail, click it to cancel
- Confirm task deletion
Note: The Cancel button only appears if the generation is still queued. If no Cancel button is visible, the generation has already started processing and cannot be cancelled, even if progress shows 0%. Give the generation more time to complete.
Not progressing past a certain percentage
When a generation shows a specific percentage (like 90%) without changing, the system is still actively processing your video. These generations often need more time, but should typically take no longer than a few minutes to complete.
If the generation is truly stuck, it will automatically cancel in 1-2 hours and your credits will be refunded.
Understanding automatic resolution
The processing system includes built-in timeouts that automatically clear delayed generations after a set period. Both queued generations and percentage-based delays resolve without any action from you.
Wait for the automatic resolution process before taking manual action. Most generations that appear stuck will complete successfully given sufficient time.
What support can do
If a generation remains stuck for an extended period of time, contact support for further assistance. If you experience multiple processing delays:
- Allow additional time for generations to complete
- Try generating during off-peak hours
- Contact support with specific details if problems continue after following these steps
