Projects are shared spaces within your Runway workspace. Everything inside a project — sessions, workflows, and assets — is visible to all project members, helping you collaborate and organize content. You can share existing content into a project at any time, or generate directly within one.
- Anything created inside a project is immediately visible to all project members.
- Anything created outside a project will be private by default, and can be moved into a project when you're ready to collaborate.

For Admins
Projects give admins more visibility and control over how collaborative work happens across the workspace:
- Track credit spend by project and receive notifications at the project level
- Better organization of sessions, workflows, and assets by team or initiative
- Flexible access management — Editors who are project members, Admins, and Billing Admins can invite or remove members
- Centralized billing that stems from the workspace, not individual projects
- Shared credits throughout the workspace
For Creators
Projects make it easy to collaborate on sessions, workflows, and assets tied to a specific creative effort. Generations are private by default. You can share them to a project, or generate directly within one — anything you create within a project is automatically shared with all project members.
FAQ
How do I share an existing asset, session, or workflow to a project?
Navigate to the space where your content lives — Sessions, Workflows, or Private — using the left-hand navigation menu. Click the options menu (...) on the content you want to share, select Share, and choose the project you want to share it to.
Can I make something private again after sharing it to a project?
Yes. Click the options menu (...) on the content you want to make private and select Make Private. This will remove it from the project and return it to your private space.
What if I shared something to the wrong project?
You can move assets between projects by clicking the options menu (...) on the content and selecting Move to move it to another project. From there you can reshare it to the correct project.
I'm on an Enterprise account. What happened to my Teamspaces?
If your workspace was using Teamspaces, those have been migrated to the enhanced Projects view automatically. You'll still have access to your existing Teamspaces.
Who can see content in a project?
All members of a project can see everything within it. Workspace Admins can see all projects in the workspace without needing to be explicitly added. Editors and Viewers can only see projects they've been invited to.
If you need to keep work private from certain teammates, don't add it to a shared project — keep it in your Private space instead. If two teams need to work independently from each other, put them in separate projects.
