Runway Agent can apply your Brand Kits as context for generations, so campaigns, ads and social content stay on-brand without re-uploading assets or re-explaining guidelines in every session. Attach a kit once and Agent follows its assets and rules across everything it generates in the chat.
Applying a Brand Kit
- Open to an Agent chat
- Click the + icon in the chat box and open the Brand tab.
- Toggle on the kit you'd like Agent to follow. It appears under Applied Kits and as a chip in the composer
- Begin chatting and generating with Agent.
Once a Brand Kit is selected, Agent will use it as guidance for the whole session. You can apply more than one kit at once, and turn kits on or off at any point in the session. Your generations from that point forward follow whatever is currently applied.
How Agent Uses Your Kit
Applied kits inform Agent's plan for each generation: the assets it references, the styles it targets and the guidance written in your kit's section descriptions. Section descriptions carry the most weight, so kits with clear descriptions produce the most consistent results.
As with all Agent generations, brand guidance describes intent, not a guaranteed outcome. Review results and iterate in the chat when something drifts off-brand.
Tip: If you're working from a Project, any Brand Kit shared to it is available to every Agent session inside that Project — so teammates can open the same session with the same kit and assets already applied. See Using Projects, Brand Kits and Agent for more.
FAQ
How are Brand Kits different from reference image and video?
References attach individual images to guide a single generation. Brand Kits bundle your assets with written guidelines, and applying one shapes everything Agent generates in the session. Use References for one-off visual guidance and Brand Kits for brand consistency across a whole session.
